Restricted Search Engines Slide 1 Business Information Searches Name, Address, Locations, Phone Numbers and Directions There is a variety of Search Engines. There are differences between Search Engines (Just like General Search Engines). Find the Search Engine(s) that works best for you. There are many unique Search Engines for specific information.

As with the General Search Engines, there are many different search engines that will give you information about businesses. This information will cover things like addresses, phones, in some cases a narrative about the business. You will also be able to get a map of where the business is located, if needed there is the ability to get directions to the business. These directions in many cases will give you the mileage and approximate driving time from your location to the business. Some of the search engines will give you the ability to designate a location and type of business, they will then return the businesses closest to the location you have given them.

There are also many different ways to find out more detailed information on a business, but for this we are only focusing in on the general information that might be of interest to you.

The information is of a topic, instead of all topics approach of what you will find in a General Search Engine. But the search itself is basically about the same between the different search engines, there is no need for the +, -, and, or etc type relationship. For the most part they will ask you for as much information as you can give them (in specified fields). You will supply one or more things, such as a name of business, type of business that it is, address, city and state. Most of the engines will take as much or as little as you can supply and give you the results of the search. As with other search engines, if you don't get the results that you want the first time, change some of the parameters and just do another search.

Unlike the General Search Engines you will more than likely only need to keep track of which one(s) of the Business Search Engines that you like to use. Seeing they are so similar in what you have to input, it will not be necessary to keep hints on how each works.
